Description
A complete ampoule processing line built by Robert Bosch GmbH. It consists of three machines that work in sequence: an RUR E16 rotary ampoule washer (built 1986), a TSQ U03 hot-air sterilising and depyrogenation tunnel (built 1984) and an AVR E08 ampoule filling and sealing machine (built 1984).
The RUR E16 is a drum-type washer with needle carriers and a media panel with individual pressure gauges. The TSQ U03 tunnel takes the washed ampoules directly to the filler. The AVR E08 works with eight dosing pumps and filling needles on linear transport and is operated from its own control panel with a Bosch display. The line was used for 1, 2, 5 and 10 ml ampoules. According to Bosch data for the AVR E08, the rated output is 300 ampoules/min (18,000/h) for 1 and 2 ml, 250 ampoules/min (15,000/h) for 5 ml and 150 ampoules/min (9,000/h) for 10 ml ampoules. The ampoules are closed by pull-sealing.
A second, incomplete line of the same type is also available as a donor line for spare parts and included in the sale with the complete line if required.
